ABOUT ME

HI!
I'm an italian girl from Gorizia (Friuli - Venezia Giulia), I'm a nurse, I work for a cooperative that helps people directly in their houses. I studied at the university in Padua, experiencing living with strangers, and it makes me grow a lot. I love my job, but I think that in my country it's restricted, so I'm planning to move away from here, Italy has a really bad period and I don't like the way it changed.
I'm an open-minded girl and I want to try always something new, new places to see, new subject to learn, new points of view to test. Maybe searching always something new is not always so comfortable, maybe sometimes we are attached to habits that help us feeling safe.. But leaving that comfort zone makes me feel alive.
My dream is to find a way of living in which I am free to decide what to do every single day, not being forced to do a job that I don't like because I need money to live. My job has to be something that I do not only for the money, but because it fills my day in a positive way, it change me in a positive way and make me feel useful.
In my opinion, travelling helps me understanding other cultures, how someone else live and why he lives in that way. Because other cultures can always give me new feelings, ideas and opinion that can improve myself.
We have only one life, so we must enjoy every way of living it!
I'm an active person and I try to fight the laziness as much as possible. I like keep my body active and my mind as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to see new places, but with the eyes of the people that live these places everyday. In the high school I had the opportunity of stay a week in someone's house in England and Spain. This was a great experience, the best way of travelling that I know.

Music, Movies, and Books

FILM: My favourite film is Mr. Nobody, seen like 10 (20?) times! Then Requiem for a Dream, Inception, Shutter Island, Nightmare before Christmas, Leon... Tim Burton is my favourite producer, his gothic world make me dream. My favourite actors are Leonardo DiCaprio and Jared Leto.
I love watching also tv series.. My favourite was OC, Grey's Anatomy, Dr. House, Nip/Tuck, Gossip Girl.. Like a drug....
MUSIC: I like a lot of music, from Metal, Rock, IndieRock, Hip-Hop, Ska, Instrumental music, D'n'B, Italian Rap..
BOOKS: I like reading a lot.. My favourite book is Ishmael, written by Daniel Quinn.. I like philosophic, thriller and enigmatic books.

I'd like to share my way of living. I can share also my knowledge in my job, my passions and what I've learned.
