Hola there!

We are Valentina and Luca, 30 and 27 years old, Italians living in Nancy.
About us...mhm... we are happy to be on this Earth, peaceful, funny (so they say...) and always curious of everything.
I am opening a food store on Etsy and Luca is a Space Ingeneer. We moved to Nancy in August 'cause Luca won a research position at Nancy's University.
We quite enjoy this small lovely city, and thanks to CS we made so many new friends!
We recently welcome a new member in our small family: Scarlett, a French Bulldog puppy. We are both very much in love with her and she makes us laugh all the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on CS cause we met so many great friends here!
When we first arrived in Nancy to look for a house for example, a CS couple hosted us while we were looking for an apartment...and now we are friends :-)
I (Valentina) personally use CS since quite a while, ad I have to say I met many great people and shared with them fantastic experiences.
I think CS it's the best way to travel, cause it allows you to really know the culture of the countries you visit.
Last year I traveled one month and a half just using CS, and sincerely it was the best experience of my life!
As for me (Luca), I am relatively new on CS, I have been hosted just a couple of times, but I absolutely LOVE it, and I can't wait to travel again and meet new fantastic people!
Me and Valentina are planning a trip to Sicily this summer, and I would love to experience again the warm welcome of CS friends.

Interests

Valentina's:
Cinema, travels, meet new people, discover the world, cooking and tasting new food, sitting on the couch and watching Games of Thrones till is 4 am, but above all lay on the beach under the sun with a Mojito in my hand.
Life is better in bikini and with a Mojito nearby!

Luca's:
Music, reading, cinema, cleaning Valentina's mess around the house, wine, sitting on the couch and watching Games of Thrones till is 6 am, history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Valentina's:
currently one of the best experience of my life was last march in Panama: I was on a boat excursion and i got to swim with sharks; I was so damn afraid but also very fascinated.
Funny thing was that the guide was aware that I was afraid and he kept try to scare the hell out of me.
And of course he made it, but I went in the water anyway and it was amazing!

Luca's:
living in many different countries around the world, especially in USA. I spent one year living in Philadelphia and I loved it!
