About Me
Hey ! 😊 Val and Laure, nice to meet you. We are 2 teammates who decided to travel the world during 9 months (at least 😉).
We are still students, in an engineering school, specialized in Environment and Energy. This « gap year » is for us an opportunity to get to know each other better (and more important, ourselves !), to eat insects in Asia, to trek in Nepal and to drive a van in New Zeland, to read more, to run less, to meet incredible people, to deconstruct ideas,…. To enjoy !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have so much things to learn from others. Plus we start getting tired and bored of each other… Ah ah no of course. More seriously, we really like the concept of couchsurfing. Nowadays, sharing has been replaced by exchanging. Let us explain. Nothing is given for free, most of the time we get something in exchange of money. Or we give and we expect to get something in return. Here is where Couchsurfing becomes magic, because it is sharing your couch, with no expectations in return. (but a beer or a piece of cake or a good meal cooked by the couchsurfer is appreciated ah ah)
