Hi, I am a Russo-Australian traveler/nomad. I used to coach skiing in Russia, Australia, Japan and New Zealand but the last 4 years were spent in Paris studying and working in video production/photography field.

I love meeting people and share experiences, stories sometimes over a glass of beer/wine. I spend much of my time ensuring that my travels and existance leave the smallest possible environmental footprint, hence my dietary and consumption choices.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a community with a multicultural heart and a heightened environmental awareness, I try to build, strengthen and promote the values during my travels.

As a skier I often accommodate friends, friends of the friends and strangers to stay in resort areas where I work. Nothing through this wonderful website though.

Interests

I love mountains, that's where I have spent most of my life.I used to compete as a racer for Russia, then I followed the snow around the world for many seasons coaching. Recently I have settled in Paris where I study French and work as a Photographer/Videographer.

I am an environmentalist, and a supporter of human rights and gender equality; not religious but doesn't bother me if you are.

I love photography it's associated equipment and the play of light. Occasional alcohol beverage, a nutritious vegan meal and a great company is my definite favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I did - Made a big corporation in Australia change its water usage policy and save billions of litres of fresh water as a graduate environmental advisor.
