About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel new places, meet new people, learn new things... Also I want to create something interesting for people to look at with my art and make people see all the beauty around them.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very optimistic and social person, always craving for new faces, new experiences, new places. I'm allergic to routine and extremely curious. I'm very much into arts and dedicate most of my time to creative activities: drawing, painting, playing guitar, dancing, reading, knitting, baking, listening to music, going to museums, etc... I love to learn new things and to share my knowledge with others! I'm a pretty friendly person but I enjoy being alone from time to time.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to enjoy all the little things (like the sun on my skin or the smell of coffee) and to make the most of what is given to me, but also to give back to others. I want to live a life full of adventures and anecdotes, of challenge and encounters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now my appartment is just way too small, but I'm hoping for a guest room in the next one to give back!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted a few times and it was always such a wonderful experience! Got to meet great people, have some fantastic conversations and discovered so many places.

Interests

I'm interested by anything related to any kind of art. Music, dance, drawing, theater... I myself play guitar and sing (not so well, but I love to) and draw/paint/etches/etc. I'm also very into the whole fiber world: knitting, weaving, emdroidery, etc. Also, of course, travel is very important for me; I want to see and know and understand everything! I enjoy very much the beauty of places, but also meeting with new people and cultures, it is so fascinating and life-changing to simply talk to people with completely different (and sometimes surprisingly similar) points of view! When travelling, I find it important to get out of the most touristic paths and really mix with the culture, try the food, learn at your best the language, see the "real life" instead of the tourist spots.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Favorites" have always been very tricky questions for me. I'm a very good audience and enjoy almost anything. I read anything that falls within my reach from philosophy book to comics. As for movies, I can't stand to watch horror movies, it just scares me way too much but aside from that, I can go from old black and white movie to Donnie Darko. For music, recently I've been in a funk, hiphop, contemporary electro phase, but really my spotify is all over the place.

And books... I think my absolute favorite one would be "Belle du Seigneur" from Albert Cohen. But I spend most of my time reading, so it's very hard to say.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailing the Atlantic ocean for 6 weeks on a sail boat!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can draw a pretty good portrait of you and have also given some drawing classes in the past so that's something I'd be glad to do again!
I can also teach you how to knit in 30 minutes top.
As for learning, I'm really opened for anything, from language to cleaning tips!
And I'd love to share any experience with surfers, going to museum, concerts, pretty much anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My arts and crafts knowledge, book suggestions, cooking skills, washing dishes of course and hopefully some adventure and laughs!
