About Me
Hi guys! I'm Valentine, 24 years old.
Since I stopped my studies in applied arts, 3 years ago, I'm always moving! I can't live without project in my head!
So these last 3 years, I experienced different things... I travelled in South America with friends, I sold icecreams in a mall for 6 months, I took a road trip in Europe with my boyfriend, I became a volunteer in an upcycling organisation, I got my motorcycle driving licence, I worked as a waitress on a beach, I travelled in Asia by myself, I worked again as a waitress but in a ski resort, for 5 big months!
And now? As you can guess, I need to travel!
So with my favorite travel companion, Rachel, we decided to buy plane tickets to San Francisco! We'll arrive on May 28 and we'll leave on June 27. Go read my public trip!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I know that the best moments in a trip are with people!
Talk with people elsewhere, eat local food with people, drink local beers with people (very important), chill with people, discover new landscapes with people...
Interests
Passions in my "normal" life :
Starting the day with a perfect breakfast, buy clothes in second-hand shops, drink red wine with good cheese and bread, write my thoughts in my dear notebook, dance alone, eat (yes, again :)) dark chocolate with coffee, do creative stuffs and dream about my next projects.
Passions in my backpacker life :
Marvel at new landscapes, eat local food/drink local beers with other backpackers/local people, chill and write my thoughts in lovely hostels/cafés.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've seen was with Rachel (yes, my favorite travel companion), in Peru!
Vinicunca aka The Rainbow Mountains...
Actually, the most impressive was not the "rainbow mountain" but the way we got to reach the famous mountain. Green, purple (yes!!), white (from the snow!)... A rainbow throughout the trek!! Wow.
So happy to have lived this and to be able to say "yes, I walked at over 5000 metres in altitude!".
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I would love to share with my hosts is especially conversations. Just conversations about life!
Indeed, I'm sure that conversations with any people can enrich a lot!
