Hi there!
My name is valentino and I'm an Australian, Canadian, New Zealander.

Je parles français aussi et ma blonde est de deschambault, une autre village proche de ici.

I also speak French and my partner is from another town close to here called deschambault.

I have lived in Canada now around 4 and a half years to date (with a lot of travel in between). We purchased a house in a cute village called Saint-Thuribe.

We also have a dog called Mowgli. We adopted him from Mexico around a year ago and he is super chill.

I love nature as well and living in our town of 400 people we have lots of it around us. There is lakes, forests and rivers a relatively short drive from our house.

I love meeting new people, travelling, and of course living a healthy lifestyle. Eating good food, having a glass of wine, reading, being creative and playing my bass or guitar sometimes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing to meet people and be shown a different side to a place. The people I meet and the experiences I have are always more important than the destination and I just enjoy going with the flow. I like to keep my mind open by pushing the boundaries and trying something out of the ordinary.

Movies - Too many to name, watched allot of movies in my time...

Books - Very hard to categorise!

Author I'm ready into right now is Michael Crichton. Love xlclassics by Roald Dahl, C.S Lewis, T.R. Tolkien, Frank Herbert, Alexandre Dumas, Eoin Colfer... More philosophical books like Homer. Well I own a kindle and have a ridiculous amount of books on my computer so I enjoy everything, as long it stimulates my imagination!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went hiking for 5 weeks (well rested a day or two when needed) in the South Island, New Zealand. Walked over 600+km and was overall was a really amazing experience.

We can share our house with you. We are 2 people with a dog living in a 4 bedroom house. There is more than enough room upstairs to accommodate our guests.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It's actually hard to say what I can share as every time I stay at a place the circumstances are always different. Im always up for cooking a lovely meal! Last time we went travelling in North America, we took a couch surfing's flatmate (as the couchsurfer was busy working) out to a remote cabin for 3 days. So up to share any adventure or see what happens when different situations arise. I love cooking and more importantly having a good time! I almost can always share stories, jokes, wine and laughter ect!
