ABOUT ME
I have decided to paste a few references I got to describe myself with someone else's eyes (of course I picked the best ones!!!)
Daniela Voigt:
Extra positive, extra beautiful, extra learning experience, extra everything. Valentino has become an important part for me in this new cycle, in this new turn of a spiral. His strength and incandescent glow for life beams through his eyes with sincerity and love. His visit brought so much learning, so much caring, so much music and moments of deep introspection that I only hope this is the beginning of a long road of a friendship that glows with its own unique energy. A man full of heart and mind, a traveler I am glad knocked on our door, left, came back and never ever left again.
Laura Tucker :
I surfed with Valentino and am so glad to know him! After wandering around Trastevere with him I stayed with his beautiful family in Ostia. We rode bicycles to the coast, sat on the roof and sang songs... so fantastic. I only got to see Valentino once more before he left for France, but an afternoon walk around the lake at EUR was a perfect goodbye. Valentino is so kind, so generous, so full of good ideas, so fun to be with. Thanks Valentino... come to the US soon!
Christian Toscano:
I met Valentino in Guatemala in the magical highlands of the lake. I believe that traveling together is equal to dog years, where you can learn a lifetime of things about a person in about a month. His face became my world, and I started to love him like a brother. Any person who chooses to host Valentino is truly a lucky soul for they will be blessed with the beautiful honest realism that one can have. You will also learn how to make *official italian* pasta and have the pleasure of sharing it with a witty and charming loving person. I await the time when I can host Valentino to have one of the most easygoing and thoughtful people around.
Kristell Le Scourzic:
ecco il mio amico valentino!!!!
this boy of Rome is my friend!
his very open and positive spirit and his kindness have maked for this hours together my most beautiful Italian memories, it made for me liked his city and his country, and a big help to learn Italian :-) I found with him a lot of comprehension for a lot a things..
a meeting which changed many things for me, it's the person of whom I think kept on my road for a long time!
thank you so much, the Brittany is waiting you!
George Cole:
Rarely have I encountered such a person as Valentino. I was touched by his gentle attitude, his ability to genuinely listen and his appetite to learn. Equally he shared his light and music, intrigue and laughter but in such a peaceful way that you might think he fell alseep under the Bodhi tree. He is one who has turned life into a quest and the goal a journey.
Fhameeda Adam:
Vale made my trip to Roma more than just visiting old sites and trying to eat as much gelato as possible. This being my first couch surfing experience, i was lucky to fall upon someone so sweet, with so much hospitality and joie de vivre. From giving us a walking tour of the city by moonlight, to beach bumming in the sun, Vale did his best to show us a great time in his wonderful city, and im happy to say that i gained a good friend in the process, grazie per tutto
PHILOSOPHY
Once a South African traveller told me "it's nice to be nice, it's good to be good". I have also read on the Berlin wall that "good things in life aren't things". I believe in people, and I believe in Karma. So the good luck I think I have it's the reward for the good things I have done till now in this life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined Couchsurfing in July and my life has completely changed. I have been introduced to a much more welcoming world and having had the chance to travel 4 months in Latin America I had the great opportunity to have a strong contact with local cultures. This has changed so much the all value of my trip in a wonderful way.I am glad I got to know about this project!
Interests
I'm interested in languages, music, sport , different cultures and travels. Well of course these are simply the things I like the most. There are thousands of other things I like and the best part is always to share them with good people.. What else? Just ask me..
