I grew up in the beautiful island of Cyprus located in the Eastern Mediterranean sea, but to satisfy my curiosities I decided to abandon my beautiful island, and I moved to Athens for my undergrad studies. And after that I decided to move even further to the United States to try to become a Doctor of Nuclear Physics. One day it will become reality. I have a huge appetite for new knowledge, and new experiences :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because its a cool way to travel and meet friends. OK, and because becoming a nuclear physicist means that you are broke most of the times :P

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I can listen to pretty much anything as far as the melody and the lyrics have quality and perhaps a meaning. I have a slight preference for classic and punk rock I guess, but if the singer is great then anything works for me!

About movies... Most of the Al Pacino or Robert de Niro movies. I love gangster movies, romantic movies, adventure movies, crime movies, Tarantino's movies etc.. Its really hard to choose a favorite! If I absolutely have to choose a favourite it would be the Godfather, and Pulp Fiction..

Now for a favorite book.. Now its really complicated.. I grew up reading almost all Jules Vernes books, Dickens Great Expectations, Jane Eyre, Defoe's Robinson Crusoe and mostly adventure and classic reads. As an adult I started reading more contemporary literature such as Camus. But if I have to choose one book, I would then choose two, Robinson Crusoe and Zorba the Greek..
