I'm a metropolitan guy from the wonderful city Kiev in Ukraine.
But when I was 18 I moved to work in another big city in my country - Odessa, colorful southern city near Black Sea and then at 19 I moved to study in the western old cultural city - Lviv, which is not far from Poland and Carpathian Mountains. So I really know a lot about my country and big cities!

Presently I study management of socio-cultural activities at Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. Music, dancing, people, emotions, festivals and parties are an integral part of my life. I have a lot of experience in volunteering at festivals and events, so now I'm working on my own cultural project in NGO.

Also I have a diploma of junior specialist in dance. I studied ballet, folk and modern dances almost for 4 years. But my true favorite type of dance is hip-hop! I've been practicing since 10 years old and currently I teach children and students how to dance freestyle, feel the music at the same time move and take control of your body. It's not easy, believe me, but I assure that I can teach you some cool tricks ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I’m not an active user of social networks I rarely have the time and opportunity to use this application, but maybe in one moment I’ll find and meet someone to share about my experiences and get new, also, to have a really good time and company in your or my city!

Interests

To walk around the city, to catch the sunrises and sunsets, swim in the ocean, jogging or any kind of sports, reading books, hiking in the mountains or visiting a local arts festival and museums, spontaneous trip or homely evening with friends!
Life is full of adventures!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer I realized that I have little space in my country, I felt a lack of inspiration and new adventures, I was excited to see and learn more about myself... so, my decision was to go on a trip to EU countries for three months!

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m an open-minded, positive and independent person with a lot of experience and skills which I’ll be happy to share with you!
We can cook ukrainian Borsh or Varenyky (it’s really tasty), how to distinguish between Ukraine and Russia, to speak both of those languages (I grew up in a bilingual family), dance “hopak” ukrainian folk dances or hip-hop to the soundtracks of Jay Z, I’ll show you festivals and maybe someday we’ll go to one of them together (or it can be just a little party in your city :D)
Music, movies, arts, books…we can hang for a long period of time!
