My name is Valeria, I`m from Chile but my family is from Perú, so I have a multicultural vision of life. I love to travel, meeting new people and places, I think those are the most valuable things in life.
Since February, 2015 I came to The Netherlands, Tilburg to make an exchange for one year, I have been learning a lot, but the most important thing is that now I want to travel around Europe, opening my mind even more. I don´t want to go back home without traveling a lot and having beautiful experiences.
Normally I`ll be traveling with my boyfriend (23). Because we have been together for 3 years and this is an amazing opportunity to know the word together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to try Couchsurfing because I think the best way to get to know a city, country, culture, is about the inside, with people who know where to go, what to do, what is beautiful and what is only a waist of time and money.
Another reason is because I`m really friendly and I love meeting people around the world, and I think this is an amazing way, sharing houses, even if it`s for a couple of days, it`s a beautiful experience.
I`m really excited about having a good experience with Couchsurfing!! :)

Interests

One of my biggest interests is Advertisement and Communication, that`s why I`m studying that haha. I`m really passionated about media, people behaviors, phycology, marketing and business. That`s my intelectual interests haha.
I also love to travel, and trying new food in every country!! FOOD IS MY LIFE haha so I`m really excited to know new culinary cultures!!
Other passion for me is reading, and movies; I think they are aways opening your mind, you learn so much and in a beautiful way. I also usted to write but I had to quit because I didn't have time with my studies, work and family.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music.. Wow.. I love a lot of musicians but just to give you an idea I really like singers like Kelly Clarkson, Jason Derulo, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, ED SHEERAN!, Jessie J, Regina Spektor, Rihanna, and a lot more, like Arctic Monkeys, Adele, and a lot of Chilean singers.. I could write for hours about singers that I like haha.. oh I also enjoy electronic music!! (Festivals as well ;))

About movies.. I don´t have a specific gender of movies, I`m always trying a new one.. but one of my favorites are.. Memento, Pulp Fiction, The Notebook (My romantic extreme I know haha), Inception, Ex Machina, Tarzan (MY childhood favorite movie for ever!), the whole Harry Potter saga, Transcendence, The Prestige, Shutter Island, Titanic, The Conjuring, The Shinning, The sixth sense, and uff.. a lot more, those were the ones that came first to my mind haha..
I also love series, my favorite will always be LOST!!, now I`m also watching The Following, Breaking Bad, Homeland, Game of thrones, American Horror Story, Pretty Little liars (another extreme I know haha), Vampire Diaries, Once Upon a Time ( I love Disney haha and this is the best adaption to the modern world), Prison Break, Mad Men... and I thinks that`s all for now.

About books.. this is a really hard question, which one could be my favorite?.. I really don´t know, but maybe The Host by Stephenie Meyer, or the Harry Potter saga, Or Fifty Shades of Grey (haha I`m kidding, I read the saga but they are not not in my favorite list)... I really like science fiction gender for books more than any other gender.. They just take me into another word, where my imagination is the only limit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I`ve ever done is coming to the Netherlands to do an exchange for a year, I`m in the middle of it but I`m still enjoying every single day of this experience. It change my live completely, I have met amazing people, and I don´t know.. It`s the best decision I`ve ever made.
