About Me

Hi Everyone!
My name is Valeria, but you can call me Vale or whatever you like.
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires but to enhance and improve my english skills I lived for a month in London.
I've travelled to lots of places and got to meet great people from all over the world.
I'm currently learning Chinese (I can read Traditional and Simplified).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in couchsurfing first and foremost because I trully Love people and meeting different cultures. It's a great way of seeing places while on a short buget and making great friends to go out.

Interests

I like planning different "tours" within the city just to hang out with my friends. I have new friends from China who I adore and we like to plan different activities whenever is possible

  • culture
  • backpacking
  • tours

Music, Movies, and Books

I loooove listening to music. I'm pretty much openminded to everything so there's no problem for me to listen to songs in languages I don't know, as long as I can translate somehow the lyrics or if the singer has a great voice I'll accept it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a tough one.
It's gonna sound silly, but I stayed for a month in London when I was 18 and for me going out of the country alllll by myself was really amazing. Not to mention that I went to France for 3 days without telling anyone while I was in London (that was bad). I planned the trip and bought the ticket in like 5 hours prior departing so I carried only my backpack and went to meet my best friend in France.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I said, I try to go out with my chinese friends because I'm learning Chinese (both simplified AND traditional) and It's a great way to improve the language. everyday I learn something new, so in return I want my foreign friends to learn about my culture and language as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Chile, England, France, Spain, Sweden, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, England
