About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Being a good and happy "cell" in the "body" of humankind... Being connected, being useful, learning. Running the Environmental NGO EcoVisio in Moldova.

ABOUT ME

Valeria: I am a realistic optimist open to the enchantment of the unexpected. My usual state of mood is being happy and interested.
I grew up in Chisinau, Moldova. Now I live, study and work in Berlin.

Julian: I love the feeling that this world is on a good way. I get more and more signs for that. Couchsurfing is one tool of a new kind of consuming, travelling or getting to know each other. Humans need humans.

We are constantly in life looking for win-win-win-situations. You win, I win, planet wins. Couchsurfing is an interesting tool for that. If you have a similar approach to couchsurfing, you are warmly welcome. We are not a cheap hostel and we like to save energy.

We are happy to host and surf with people who are looking forward for more win-win-wins situations!

PHILOSOPHY

Life's a great adventure of discovering ourselves, others and the world.

Valeria: I live in constant GRATITUDE and TRUST to the life, to God. I am Baha'i. I try to live here and now, learn from everything I meet on my way, watch out not to harm a living creature physically or emotionally. Sometimes I have an unbearable joy and lightness of living. I try to pay attention to small things and nature, to listen to inner and outer voices of the universe, pray.

"Be happy, be happy, be happy, the place to be happy is here, the time to be happy is now, and the way to be happy is to make others so."
Abdu'l-Baha

"Be thirsty, heart, seek forever without a rest. Let this soundless longing be the source of every word you say."
Djelaleddin Rumi

"Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come."
Hugo

"How can thou consider thyself only a puny form, when withing thee, the Universe is folded"
Muhammad

Julian: I love Valeria and share most of her spiritual ideas. Even if I knew that this world will crash tomorrow I would still plant an apple tree today. So let's start planting:
