I'm a happy Italian girl who loves traveling and meeting interesting people. The first time I left home I was still quite young and since then I've already lived abroad few times alone: in the Dominican Republic for a one-year AFS intercultural exchange and in Germany (Cologne) for a eight-months au pair job. I'm currently studying Intercultural Communication at the University in Turin: I'm very interested in Anthropology, Sociology and everything related with culture and human mind. I love being surrounded by nice people who I can share interesting conversations with: I consider myself an open minded person and I'm ready to learn whatever new and maybe change my point of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the idea of hospitality I like most: free, genuine, human.
I think it's a great way to discover a new place: it's more than just visiting... it's getting to know it with a local resident which is of course better than a tourist guide. It's also exchanging ideas, tasting delicious food, meeting new friends... what's better?!
I've already host many people at my place and found homes everywhere during my trips: all of them have been wonderful experiences!

- Vagabonding... it's not the touristic way to travel
