I am an adaptable and curious 37yo human being, open-minded and creative. An eternal fan of nature and its beauty. I like writing, photography, music that makes me nostalgic, summer days in the middle of the tropical rainy season, desserts that have lactose and strawberries, avocados, flowers, hiking mountains, exploring rivers, and I love rainy days at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a Costa Rican leaping into the void. I have been working with the digital world since 2010 and need a break. More than a pause, I need to make a change in my professional life to seek what truly nourishes me. I plan to travel around Europe to return to the tangible and natural world in this leap into the void I am taking, working with the land (wwoofing), learning new things, meeting new people, creating new connections and exploring new ways of living or seeing the world. I need another type of stimulation, a more human and natural one, to feel grounded and connected to the earth, my body, and, therefore, the people around me.

Interests

My current version enjoys walking, hiking in the mountains, eating delicious food, deep conversations about life and the human experience, listening to all kinds of music. I am very calm, I don't party (I like to sleep) drink a little, and I do not smoke tobacco but I do like to smoke weed from time to time. I like plants and everything that connects me with nature. I think that this is what I need in life, closeness to people, nature and working with and in it.

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I usually listen to is folk, soul, indie, old reggae, classics, and instrumental. It is very hard for me to read books, my mind can no longer keep interest and I usually leave them halfway through, but I like to read about psychology, love, essays on society, dreams, AI, etc.
