Hi! My name is Valerie. I've never really considered myself a traveler, but after having the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland, I can't help but make it a point to explore new places. I am currently in graduate school for Speech Language Pathology, but I travel whenever I get the chance. I love visiting my friends who live around the world. After I graduated Loyola University in Baltimore, I moved to Thailand to teach 2nd grade. After I graduate, I hope to move back abroad with my SLP degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend from home moved to Ireland in September. I am visiting her for New Years! I studied abroad in Cork, Ireland for semester in 2014. We're going to spend 5 days in Ireland and then head to Amsterdam for 4 days. We're looking for a place to stay for the 2 nights we'll be in Cork.
