Hi! I love to travel and have lived in West Africa and India. Some of my favourite things to do are discovering a city by bike, hiking and camping, being on the water, and listening to live music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I love to meet new people and have great conversations. I find that it is people not places that are most memorable, and connections with people really make a place noteworthy. I am fairly new to couchsurfing (hence my lack of references), but met the most delightful people in Barcelona via couchsurfing. If they are any indication, couchsurfers are "my people".

Music, Movies, and Books

Musically I am all over the map: anything from Afrobeat to soul.

I love Bollywood films, documentaries, fantasy, subtitles...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote a book. Perhaps the accomplishment I am most proud of. Oh! And I've also been a foster parent of teenagers and LOVED it! Hope to do it again when I am more permanent somewhere.
