Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Round the world trip, finally I'm right in it !!
ABOUT ME
I grew up partly in Africa and China, travelled around a lot but today mostly based in France. Moving in and out is the story of my life, which can pretty much fit in few boxes, a nomade born girl ! That beeing said, I'm always in need to widden my horizons.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a person who enjoys simple details of life, I believe in love, in the power of a smile, in dreams... I believe in people
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I organized few events in Joburg (at least I tried to) and it didn't turned out so well as I was the only one attending in the end!! LoL But it was mostly due to some marketing issues, I should remember to post events long time ahead! (but one must admit that it's kind of tough to plan things with travelers who rarely stay in the same place) But I so can't wait to return to China, where it's easier for me to throw events as I can read and speak Chinese, there are so many things to do out there if only you know where to look for information.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All nice and chilled...
- Was invited by a Chinese family for the mid autumn festival day in Zhengzhou,
- Shared a delicious American Christmas dinner in Beijing
- Went for a great photo scavenger hunt in Joburg organized by a fellow CS...
- Met awesome people at a CSer-organized braai and made friends
But also all the posts I made or answered to give and receive travel tips in different groups, it's the one thing I like about the CS community.
Interests
Actually, I’m interested in almost everything I don’t know about! But more especially, I like rather simple stuff like cooking, taking a coffee with my people, walking around and when I’m in a lazy mood, I just feel like watching some soapies on internet…! I also love ethnic food !(Oh and obviously, travelling!)

Music, Movies, and Books
DANCE & FITNESS !!! I just love it, DVDs, zumba parties, fitness classes, not to loose weight or anything of this kind but just to keep fit and it's so much fun as well !!! (I know you wouln't expect this in this section but I do have movies, music and books about it so...! :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- A bungee jump for my 20th birthday, it lasted only 30 seconds but heeeeelll I shouted my lungs out!
And more recently, the highest bungee jump in South Africa, 216 metres, I'm addicted !!!
-- Walked the Camino (Chemin de compostelle) from south France to north Spain and was hosted by a homeless lady one night (I'll always remember this)
--- Climbed a forbidden section of the Great wall, initially in order to avoid the crowd but after 5 mins, I understood why it was closed to the public: it was under repair!!! The wall was literally falling apart, hectic!
Teach, Learn, Share
LEARN----> One thing I've learned trough all my trips is that TIME FLIES. If there is something you wanna do, do it now! Because the day after, maybe it will be raining, or your friends will cancel on you, or maybe the museum or whatever you wanted to visit will be closed on that day.. and eventually, you go back home having done half of the things you were thinking of.
Time flies guys (and that is true, even if you're not travelling but just at home)
TEACH----> Well, I can teach you some Chinese basics, especially writting, Chinese caracteres are super cool and Chinese language is the most logical, therefore the easiest language on earth!!!
SHARE----> I'm kind of a story teller, I love sharing my travel experiences as there are always unexpected stuff that come up!
