About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live the next exciting chapter of my life.

ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing and easy-going, I love to have fun in all sorts of ways, whether it's fun for the brain or the body. I'll try anything new and different because I'm curious and I love a good challenge that will push me out of my comfort zone. I'm also warm, caring and respectful: I love listening to people's stories, get a sense of what makes them tick. Oh, and I love to laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's way too short. Don't take it too seriously to make the most of it. Believe in yourself. The sky's the limit, don't let your fears hold you back from exploring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went travelling between September 2012 and February 2013 and couch surfed in the US and India. Absolutely loved it. Best way to travel if you ask me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first CouchSurfing experiences as I travelled in the US (LA, San Diego and NYC) and India in 2012. Absolutely loved it!! All my hosts were brilliant. It just feels really special to be welcomed into someone's home and life, even if it's only for a very short while. Now that I've discovered it, I can't think of any way I would personally want to travel: getting to see a new place through the eyes of those who live there and getting to meet fabulous people, what more could you ask for?

Interests

New experiences. Testing boundaries. Meeting new people and having a good chat. Food. Salsa and dancing generally. Music with a good beat and tune. Art that touches my heart. Photography, doing my own and seeing other people's work. Reading. Neuroscience. Hiking. Motorcycles. Nutella. Whiskey. Writing. Nature. Meditation. Pilates.

Teach, Learn, Share

Share my experience of facing my fears and trusting the Universe (yeah, I know, I used to be sceptical myself) and how amazing things happen to you when you just let go and give it a try.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Teach them some French. Stories of my travels. Information about how the brain works. As a guest, I never come empty-handed, I'm tidy, clean up after myself and help with house chores. :)
