Hi! My name is Valerie :)
I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany.
I'm planning on starting university this October to become a biologist... But before that I want to travel as much as possible! For the last one and a half months I've been traveling through Central America and my next destination will be Mexico, where I'm going to volunteer in a dog shelter.
In May I'm heading home to Berlin but in the end of June I'll start my next journey to the US...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is just a great way to get in touch with people all over the world! Especially when you're traveling on your own it's nice to connect with people and share your experiences or even your home...

Interests

I volunteered in different dog shelters and I also grew up with a lot animals. That's why I really enjoy taking care of dogs or animals in general... In my free time I really like to go to the park and my brother wants to teach me how to skateboard when I'm back in Berlin (so maybe that will be one of my interest in the future!)... For the last 11 year I did ballet as a hobby and I might start again once I've begun studying.
Also I'm interested in art and of course biology since I'm planning on becoming a biologist :)
