Hello! My name is Valerie Desormeaux and I'm moving to Berlin Germany the 11th of July in order to pursue my career as an arial circus artist. I love playing the ukulele and piano when I have access to one, and enjoy roller skating in the sunny outdoors. I love animals especially cats! I used to do rythmic gymnastics and acrobatic dancing. These two art forms still inspire my circus acts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I am moving overseas to Germany and will need a place to stay when I arrive until I find an apartment I can call my home. I am excited to meet locals and to discover the new city I will soon call home.

I have a wide range of musical taste, and is difficult to choose a few bands/songs.
But to name a few and in no specific order Agnes Obel, Halfmoon Run, Angus and Julia Stone.
Books: Harry Potter, the entire series, and any book from Paolo Cohelo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gotten to know amazing souls, making the move to Berlin bittersweet. That in itself has been incredible and one of the most amazing thing I've done. I can also bend in half.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to stretch properly, strengthen and look nice in the air. I can teach you how to appreciate olive juice. Yum.
I can share my incredible traveling experiences over some beer.
We can chat about life and art over a nice cup of tea.
