About Me

Hi guys!

I'm Valérie, 28 y/o french Canadian currently travelling for a few months! I am just coming from Indonesia and plan to stay a few months in Australia. I am travelling mostly for yoga & spiritual stuff at the moment but I also want to connect and exchange with people, locals or expats ad well as learn new things. I'm a pretty easygoing and social girl with a passion for life and its magical encounters so I think it’s time I start my couchsurfing adventures!

I never did before but I’m more than ready to start! I’m always keen for adventures, trying new things & food and have a good chat about life. I can cook a cool meal if you wish too !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's always exciting and rewarding to live the local way no matter where you go. To be frank, I'm quite new at this but I'm really excited to start experiencing it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a music lover, music festivals are a passion for me. From country to follk without forgetting indie and good ol'rock music, I'm pretty flexible on music because it's all about contexts, moments and making memories.

My two favorite movies ever (I literally have to watch each of them a few times a year to feel mentally balanced (lol)) are :

-"L'amour dure trois ans", a french movie by Frederic Beigbeder
-"Eat, pray, love", a good classic to any woman loves travelling who's been wondering what is it that we are supposed to do with this life of ours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending two seasons living the dream in the Canadian Rockies, skiing as often as I possibly could. Perfect place where I had the chance to my the man I love, a little not so little plus to this already great adventure of mine :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a little bit of french, cooking and some public relations stuff (eg: how to manage social medias/ little tips and tricks for good branding, etc.)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and I would humbly say I'm pretty good at it so im always keen for a good meal in good company.

I also love to share a great talk about pretty much anything (with or without a glass of a great Cabernet Sauvignon :) ) I just love to learn about people's life and experience.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Singapore, Thailand, United States
