Here are some of my favorite quotes.

"Be tomorrow's you today."

"If I am a maple key falling, at least I can twirl."

"What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?"

"Do things on purpose."

"When someone spits on you, they don't make you mad, they make you wet."

"You can always go farther than you think you can."

"There is nothing in which people more betray their character than in what they laugh at."

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfing, hosting, and CS events

My first experience with CS was when my boyfriend and I tandem bicycled across North America. CSers fed us, welcomed us into their homes when they were out of town, taught us how to do ice cream keg stands, lent their cars, and hooked us up with friends across the continent to stay with. It was unbelievable! Since then we've been paying it forward as much as we can and love hosting.

Interests

Swing dancing (modern, jitterbug, lindy-hop), budgeting, reciting pi, bicycle touring, puzzles, traveling, trying new things, learning, blogging, helping, teaching.

Riding a tandem bicycle from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean unsupported and un-clipped in is by far the most amazing thing I've ever done!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a very passionate teacher and would love to teach you anything I know a ton about! My particular areas of expertise include: budgeting, paying off debt, swing dancing, working with kids, natural family planning, menstrual cups, and communication theories.

I talk about a lot of these on my blog!
