About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life is too short to live in just one place

ABOUT ME

I love the world's diversity, exploring new countries and cultures and meeting new people.

I love not only travelling but also spending enough time in a country in order to understand its culture, its customs and the way people live and think.

What amazes me is that in spite of all the cultural differences between people from very different places around the world, people experience the same feelings and desires.

I love the excitment I get from starting all over again, arriving in a new place, starting a new life and making new friends. What makes me really sad though is having to say goodbye and leaving people I care for behind. Because, at the end of the day, what really makes a difference in my life and gives it flavour is the people I meet.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is too short to live in just one place, and I want to experience living in as many places as possible.

One thing I discovered while travelling is that things are never the way you had imagined them. It's not that they're better or worse: they're just different! And you have to become open-minded to adapt quickly to change!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed quite a lot in Brazil and met many interesting people through it. I also used to attend the regular CS events when I was living there.
I sometimes attend CS events here in Penang - they are a great way of meeting both locals and travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in Malaysia in 2009.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in 10 countries - I've spent more than half my life away from my home country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you with your Italian and English and teach you how to cook foods from different corners of the world.
Meeting new people is an opportunity to learn new things.
