Hello my name is Valentina, I am Italian but I am currently living in Newcastle (Australia) where I am doing a PhD in climate science. I am trying to reconstruct the climate of the past by using caves and stalagmites. Sooo cool!

Interests

I am a quite active person. I run long distances, go to the gym (in winter is handy), and sometimes, climb or surf (I am not very good but its enough for enjoying these activities). I also like hiking. During my studies, I have also been out a lot doing field-works and I simply love it! I love being in remote places, doing interesting and unusual things like caving or coring lake sediments.

I am very curious so I like being surrounded by persons that can tickle my fancy.

I am a very independent person too. I have lived in three different countries and I don't know what is next...it's so exciting!
