Overview
About Me
I'm a 26-year-old woman from Sofia, Bulgaria (the capital): born and raised, spent 5 years in the UK, now back to Bulgaria. I try to travel as much as possible whenever I have the chance. Ever since I found out about Couchsurfing I try to make it a part of my trip as well.
I see myself as really easy-going, friendly and quick to entertain and be entertained, especially if I connect with the right people. I like to observe my environment and those who surround me, I am really curious and open toward the world in general and always looking to see, understand and experience more.. I think I have the ability to really listen to people genuinely when connecting with them.
When I visit a new city I like to meet and hang out with locals in order to get in the mood of the place and its people. When I am surfing somebody's place, I always try and be respectful and understanding of their ways while having the most fun together. Also I have done a lot of live-in work as a carer, so I always have the habit to leave clean behind me! (and I value that a lot when hosting someone)
Some of my biggest interests include physical movement: I dance contemporary dance and contact improvisation, and also practice Capoeira - an art that involves fight, play, dance, music and much more... I also really enjoy learning to sing, hearing my voice improve little by little, and trying out playing different musical instruments.
I am also passionate about art, especially contemporary art, performances and projects that talk about current social issues. I deeply believe that through using creativity we can better find out about the workings of our society and how we can improve it.
Overall I strive towards a free, conscious, fulfilled life, experiencing as much as I can and learning as I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - everything, but most often jazz, afrobeat, world music, r'n'b….
Movies - I'm not a huge movie person, I can tell you my favourite one is probably The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain
Books - whatever I come across that promises to be engaging and in tune with my interests; mainly non-fiction
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a house boat that I lived on for 2.5 years. Also hiked 650km when I was 19 while doing the Kom-Emine hiking trail in Bulgaria - massive physical and psychological challenge.
