I'm Valia and i'm 47 years old . My husband and I have been together for 30 years and we have 2 girls of 19 and 8 years old.
I traveled a lot when I was younger and I loved it : China, India, Venezuela many times, Egypt, Canada, Morocco, Madagascar, Costa Rica, New-york...
When we grow up, the job, the family and other things often make us forget what we love most : Discovery and others. These others that make the richness and beauty of our world. For some years now we have decided, with family, to put travel and discovery at the center of our universe. We prefer to travel, meet people and discover new places than buying a "big car" ....
It's a choice of life and a liberation. And I think for children it's a real wealth. Meet other children who speak another language, have another culture ... I hope it'll give them the love of each other .
After Spain, Italy, the Canaries, in August 2018 we left for 4 weeks in the USA. Amazing country and a population of incredible kindness. We'll return in 2020. (I already plan our trip with our youngest daughter)
Dominican Republic in February 2019 .
And in 3-4 years we are planning a trip of 4-6 weeks in South America: Colombia, Peru, Chili.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion we can't really love travel if we don't like people and exchanges .
All these meetings that we do when we travel nourish and elevate us.

Enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice. Picnic by the river in the shade of trees and swim with my children and friends
