About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
ABOUT ME
I've been fortunate enough to travel all over the US and many parts of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. I lived in Madrid, Spain for a year. I'm definitely a wanderer and I love meeting others who enjoy adventure.
I love camping, rock climbing, hiking, biking, and yoga. I'm also very much into meditation and do my best to be mindful in all life activities. I spent some time in India and received my yoga teacher's certification, so I'd be more than willing to teach others during my travels :-)
PHILOSOPHY
Read Kahlil Gibran's 'The Prophet'. That about sums it all up.
I said before I very much enjoy meditation, and I came across this practice while learning about Buddhism. I don't consider myself a religious person, but I do love discussing religious and philosophical questions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted several people in the past, mainly when I lived in Spain. I'm just now getting back into the site and look forward to surfing couches until I can host other surfers, when I get my own place in Seattle.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed at a few places in Europe, Israel, and the US, and had a few surfers at my old place in Madrid, Spain. All were wonderful experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love me some documentaries and foreign films. I also am a huge fan of Stanley Kubrick.
I listen to a wide variety of music. Most recently I've been getting into Mumford and Sons, The Avett Brothers, Trampled by Turtles, Shpongle, and other folk/indie music. I used to breakdance a bit, so I'm still quite a fan of some hip-hop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked Annapurna in Nepal. Got acquainted with the local leech population. Still, probably the most beautiful place I've ever been.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a student by trade, though I also have some experience teaching at the college level. I specialize in human rights, rhetoric, communications, and Spanish. I'm also a huge fan of secular Buddhist philosophy and am constantly passing out wonderful books for my friends to read.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm learning some fancy recipes, so I'd love to cook together. I'd also be happy to teach a bit of yoga and meditation.
