About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to fill my travels and life in Pittsburgh with as many good people and good conversation as possible
ABOUT ME
I started couchsurfing while I was teaching English in Spain and really enjoy being part of the community. I would love to surf in the future and host people in my city, Pittsburgh. I am currently searching for a new job, practicing yoga, training for a 10k, learning to cook and bake, reading, raising a puppy and enjoying my friends and family.
PHILOSOPHY
you can go almost anywhere and do almost anything if you're not in a hurry! (read that somewhere, not my own words)

Music, Movies, and Books
i hate filling out sections like this in a profile, why don't we just chat about this in person instead?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i accidentally swam with a huge sea turtle in a bustling city beach in northeastern brasil. neither of us really "belonged" in those packed waters, yet somehow it was the most natural of moments. i was a bit further out in the bay snorkeling by myself, and the turtle swam around below me for a minute or two. nobody else was close enough to see her, just me.
Teach, Learn, Share
having an open mind is sometimes easier said than done! i try to remember that just because an experience deviates from my expectations doesn't mean it wasn't worthwhile or valuable.
