Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. I'm currently studying International Relations at an university in Brazil. I love going to the beach, camping and getting to know new people.
I'm definitely not a party person, but I love hanging out and having a nice chat with my CS fellows! 😎🍻
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I decided to join Couchsurfing for two reasons:
💸 Firstly because I believe one doesn't need to be rich to travel around. I support this system because it makes lower-cost travels possible, democratising the travelling act.
🔄 Secondly, because there's a magic on meeting people from all around the globe while you spend sometime hosted at their place (or the opposite). I believe that hosting travellers and being hosted by locals is the best way to get in touch with different cultures. And that exchange promotes respect and admiration to the difference.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 Music 🎶
Doesn't matter which rythm the song has, as soon as it carries a kind/strong message I'll enjoy it. But since that kind of messages are not only passed through words, I particulary love instrumental and local/typical music.
📽️ Movies 📀
I don't like horror movies at all. I like adventure, action, fantasy and comedy instead. The same goes for books.
📘 Books 📖
My favorite book sagas are The Lord of the Rings - and everything related to Middle Earth.
📺 TV 🔉
I'm not keen on watching TV, but my favorite TV series are Friends and Haven.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Couldn't choose just one, so...
I hiked all the way to the top of Morro do Corcovado for Christ the Redeemer statue (at Rio de Janeiro) in a completely sedentary moment of my life. 💪😎
I travelled on my own with an extremely low budget to New Zealand with an okay level of English and young age. I crossed the North Island of the country hitchhiking and hosting myself with couchsurfers. 🌏💙
I crossed the borders of Brazil by feet twice the same day: firstly to Paraguay and secondly to Argentina. Me and my university pals had breakfast in Brazil, lunch in Paraguay and dinner in Argentina. Lovely! 😋🎒
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope I can find couchsurfers willing to exchange life experiences and maybe teach me a little about their native languages. 🌎🌍🌏
The same way, I love sharing my stories and teaching a little Portuguese to foreign people. ☮️
I also would love to learn how to surf because I've never tried, but I can do something with the bodyboard! 🏄♀️
Plus, I'm a martial arts enthusiast, so I'm always willing to practice and learn a bit more of them! 🥋
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to exchange travel and life stories with people.
I'm really talkative, so we can have lovely conversations. I love learning about how things works in different places, in different cultures. 🌎🌍🌏
Last but not least, I will love to guide you around Rio de Janeiro if I'm able to convince you to go there - or, at least, help you with your script!
