ABOUT ME: I LOVE to work hard and play hard. Every day is a new opportunity to improve yourself and to change the world. Thus far, I have no regrets.

My Peace Corps experience living in Dominican Republic really opened my eyes: I now want to experience different cultures, taste different foods, hear different languages, and see many places.

I love meeting new people. I love to learn and the most interesting people to me are the ones who can challenge me intellectually while understanding that people have different opinions, which is one of life's many beauties.

PHILOSOPHY: The world is greater than what revolves around you. Open up your mind and set yourself free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first CouchSurfing experience was amazing! One of my buddies in the Peace Corps asked me to host a couchsurfer. Although I was not a member, I agreed to host her for a few days. She explained to me all about the CouchSurfing mission and I was sold. Now, it's official. I have been a Couch Surfer since 2008 and loving every experience!

Interests

I love to play volleyball and badminton. I'm into hiking and long distance running. I love to mentor and provide leadership development opportunities for youth. I also like all types of music and you can always find me dancing to almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing I've done: Hiked the tallest active volcano in the world - Cotopaxi.
