About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To open our place to those who dare to take a less beaten path. To enjoy the Sierras Nevada Mountains, Comradarie and a sharing of adventures.

ABOUT ME

I work half time. I'm in a book group. Hike in the High Sierras (in our backyard) or go rafting. Husband river guide in his prime: many first descents of many rivers around the globe including the Zambezi, Indus, Bio-Bio, Omo, Yangtze rivers.

PHILOSOPHY

Go at your own pace. Keep an open mind

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once we stayed at a CS couple's home in Boston summer '08 while attending a family wedding. Great fun. We now have hosted 12 guests, four of the 12 were couples . Where are the rest of you? A lot of positive energy with a shared understanding of how CS works.

Interests

gardening/landscaping, hiking, master swimming, tame whitewater rafting, watercolor(occurs on river trips 1/yr), keeping track of my flock. Getting our families together in fun locations like the youth hostel cottages at Pigeon Point Lighthouse CA over xmas.
