I love black. I love my family; I like my friends, and some of them are also totally loved!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a kind of a passive-agressive participant ;) Either I ignore CS.com for months or Login every day. But even if I'm not technically on for months I try to answer every message and help as much as I can by answering questions, giving tips etc.

Another thing - I really enjoy CouchSurfers' meetings. I've been to a quite of few of those - both in Riga and abroad, and they have always been unforgettable experiences!!! So much fun, so many different people, new contacts, new friends... So I highly recommend it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've CouchSurfed many many times since March 2009, and it has always been a great experience with the most wonderful people. I've never hosted anyone, because my living situation doesn't allow it, but I really hope that someday I will have the chance to host fellow world travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

My Last.fm has listed everything I listen to, included but not limited to the Baseballs, Switchfoot, Dishwalla, Lifehouse, Smash Mouth, the Beatles, Beach Boys, Everly, Liz Phair, the Pretty Reckless, Iron & Wine, Wakey! Wakey!, Air, God is an Astronaut et cetera, et cetera.

As for movies, my all-time favorite classic is Gone With the Wind. Weirdly, my favorite childhood comedies are Spaceballs, the Naked Gun movies and Wrongfully Accused. I love everything based on N. Sparks novels - Dear John, the Notebook, A Walk to Remember, as well as movies with a lot of music and dancing in them, like Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, August Rush, Mamma Mia!, Save the Last Dance, The Phantom of the Opera.

I enjoy a good book and I religiously update my Goodreads account.
