About Me
ABOUT
For the moment I'm working in Morocco, taking in the sun and the scents before heading towards new adventures!
For me it's very important to enjoy my life and respect the things I do, whether work, studies or other choices I make. I love to have people around, share and learn. I enjoy conversations and debates with interesting people, dancing until late hours, art, getting lost and being outdoors, to name a few things.
In terms of doing stuff I'm a historian interested in cultural tourism, I used to organize different kinds cultural events (from reading circles to small festivals) on a local scale in the city of hearts, Turku.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By offering accommodation and by occasionally going to meetings.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few years ago, I spent some time abroad as an exchange student in lovely Strasbourg. The central situation of the city enabled going around in Europe, which was quite nice (Finland is so far up North!). I traveled a lot and couchsurfed too. These excursions made me think about different ways and means of traveling and sharing the experiences.
Interests
Traveling, climbing, wandering, reading, environmental issues and building a slightly nicer, fairer world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During the summer 2011 I hitch-hiked (and couchsurfed) by myself from Finland through the Baltic countries all the way south to München. I don't know if it's something amazing, but surely something to remember!
