I am an adventurous, positive, active and highly ambitions person and an electronic engineering student from Latvia. I like nature, impressive views and I'm captivated by tech, science and startups. I worked in BI, IT startup, catering, marketing and technology fields. The world is a fascinating place. I've always enjoyed sports. I have been windsurfing around all around Latvia, Baltics and Europe for four years! The first time I skied I was a few years old, and I still love it when I get the chance to swipe mountains and fly on the big jumps.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is limtless, I find myself listening to Rock, Jazz, Alternative, 50s-90s, dramatic classical musics etc. My music filter doesn't care about the style (there are a few exceptions).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

MY MOST REWARDING WINDSURFING EXPERIENCE

It was the third day of the Baltic Windsurfing Cup 2015. The sea was boiling with 5 meter waves a strong gale of 15 to 20 m/s. I went into the water to windsurf with RS:X equipment. After sailing upwind, downwind and side-wind throughout the race with a staggering speed and being faced with great physical and psychological challenges and voluntary, as well as, involuntary high-jumps I was one of the few who finished the race. The level of thrill reached a new maximum that day.

BY THE WAY: WHY I LOVE WINDSURFING?

IN SHORT IT'S THE PERFECT COMBINATION BETWEEN BRAINS, ATHLETICS AND JOY.

It is a combination of power, endurance, mental challenges, at the same time it requires the windsurfer to think a lot about the weather and it's changes (to choose the best route), technique (adjusting the equipment while on the way, choosing the best style and position for the conditions), other competitors/tactics, smile in the face of fear (where and when appropriate!), make the decisions in a snap and more.
