About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figure out the secrets of the universe :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a seeker, adventurer, a wondering artist searching for my voice. Oh, and i believe in smileys because it's the easiest way to smile:)

PHILOSOPHY

What i'm seeking is (among many other things) the ability to love everyone and everything unconditionally, without needing or fearing anyone or anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In couch surfing? So far it seems to be more surfing that hosting, i hope that's not selfish? To balance it out, i'd like to provide food for my hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Already fortifying my faith in humanity!

Interests

I spend a lot of time playing the guitar, singing, watching TV (hoping to reduce) and a little time meditating (hoping to increase ). Sportswise i do gym, tai chi, frisbeegolf and occasionally something like my own kind of yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pii's Life was an awesome movie!

Right now i'm reading Ouspensky's In Search of the Miraculous. Finished it, not really my style. I preferred Celestine Prophecy.

I listen to a lot of calm and meditative music but also some post metal and folk rock in the gym.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Glimpses of eternity in meditation. Singing. Muffin Ice cream. The Tree of Life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Today i learned a simple Buddhist meditation technique: follow your breath as it passes through your nostrils. Count your outbreaths, until you reach 21 or 10.

Oh, and try starting your breath cycle with the outbreath instead.

I'm mostly interested in teaching and learning meditational and spiritual things, about awareness and life and death.

But also music and videogames :)
