About Me
Hey guys! I'm 26-year old economics student and a part time cook from Turku, Finland. I'm an easy going and relaxed kind of lad who likes to chill but also do different kinds of things. So I'm up to a long discussion, partying or some outdoorlife, however I or you like it.
I've lived here in Turku for my entire life so far but I'm kinda thinking about moving abroad after my bachelors degree. I like to travel when I can which means if I've got the time and the money. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's nice get some guests and new friends from different countries, and when abroad, to have someone who knows the places to show you around. And last but not least, get to know some new people!
Interests
Well, obviously I'm interested in economics since I'm studying it. :)
Cookery means a lot to me and I also enjoy having different kinds of beverages, especially some nice and old dark rum!
Choir singing has been one of my hobbies for a couple of years now and I also like to play guitar every this and then (not that I'd be that good at it, though).
Flyfishing is pretty awesome and so is urban exploration. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Weeeell... All kinds of stuff. I was really into prog rock when I was younger and then I started liking post-punk.
These days my favourite music moves somewhere in between classical and stoner doom, so it's kinda hard to say. Lately I've been listening and trying to get into bossa nova. Tom Waits is my all time favourite!
Books: I don't think I have real favourite ones but I do like Vladimir Nabokov pretty much. Been trying to read the old Russian classics, too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Being lost with my flatmate in Venice in December during a snowstorm! (That was actually a lot of fun!)
-Pretty much my every single trip to northern Finland, Sweden and Norway. One week in the middle of nowhere camping, hiking, fishing and enjoying the nature.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Whatever I've got to share. :)
I can cook and sing at least! And because I like to use wild herbs in cooking we can go and try to find some(if possible), and I can try to make some nordic food for you.
