I love my home area. Sure, it's a post-industrial wasteland but it's MY wasteland, and I wouldn't trade it for all the socio-economic prospects in the world.
Come, learn about the Black Country - I'm a very positive guide.

Anyway, What can I say?

I'm an extrovert who can and does love to be alone for periods of time.

I've realised as I've aged I've begun to take less risks and almost die less. This brings me great sadness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfing, and trying to meet my local international community!

Hosting will be sporadic I'll be honest. But my work sends me traveling around the world - so hopefully I can bring a little wasteland charm to your place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really like the old Couchsurfing profiles... So I've left the titles in.

I went on a beautiful trip to belgium and met some beautiful people,
Since getting back, I didn't want to stay.
So I went again to western Europe, Israel, and east Europe..
When I came home, whenever I close my eyes I see the narrow streets of Jerusalem, the mountains in Annecy, Geneva and the Golden Heights. I see the trams of belgrade, the bullet holes in bosnia and strangely, the traffic light men in austria.

I've now got a real job (BOOOO!) however this real job sends me around the world, so I don't have to wait 3 years of saving to see somewhere lovely.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode onto a ferry on a little pink girls bike.

I was smuggled around rural Pakistan in costume to avoid kidnap.

I swear the Israeli Army hunted for me. I'm not sure why, and I don't want to know.
