About Me

I'm an illustrator and sometimes make graphic design or props. Because of my work i often have a huge mess in my home and I hope my guests wouldn't be afraid of it. At least there's nothing terrible among those things, and when I'm a guest I'm not messy.

Here are some of my works https://www.behance.net/vamos-caracol

And I started to make some photos, not very professional, but have an instagram page for my experiments: instagram.com/_estherka

I'm interested in people, but sometimes I start to suffer in big groups and softly softly skip.

I don't eat meat but you can eat in my house anything you want, I'm not a food-dictator.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very curious. And eventually I made some good friends that stayed in my place and I stayed at theirs. That's why I'm still here.

Unfortunately, I don't host now as often as before, cause I share a flat with two other girls and sometimes we just don't have enough space. But sometimes someone is traveling so some room gets free and we can host.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - quite various - Tuxedomoon, Nina Simone, David Bowie, Einstürzende Neubauten, Klaus Nomi, Velvet Underground, Phew, Sergey Kuryokhin. I'm totally fine with classical and experimental music, though not really well educated in it, I love Benjamin Britten, Henry Purcell, Bach, Arvo Pärt, and enjoy listening BBC Radiophonic workshop.

I read quite a lot (but sometimes I don't read anything at all), so I don't want to make a long list. As for last reading that impressed me, it was Paul Bowles's "The sheltering sky" and Derek Jarman's "Chroma". And suddenly Arthur Clark.

Movies - Monty Python!, Lynch, Kubrick, Werner Herzog, Fassbinder, old Czech animation.
