About Me

I am an open-minded traveler who had an opportunity through university to come to Canada for this summer and would love to see as much as possible from the country and its people! I love how colorful the culture is here. And how different it's every state is. So far I could experience Ontario, BC, and Alberta and I hope to connect to Montreal as well!
I am studying to become a molecular biologist, currently at the end of my master degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet locals and not just to be a tourist, I feel I will only learn about a country if I can get connected to its people. At the same time, I hope to share my experiences and help to open the world for more love and peace and shared knowledge between people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to listen to indie, folk, electronic, jazz and classical music. Some of my favorite artists are Glass Animals, AltJ, Jack Johnson, FKJ, Punnany Massif and I love the soundtracks of Hans Zimmer or Danny Elfman. I pretty much like everything depending on my mood and the environment around and I believe all music has something to tell us.
Movies: Art and History, Animation, Comedy. Absolute favorite is Series of Unfortunate Events, János Vitéz, Life of Pi, English patient
Books: aww so many and so hard to pick just a few! Generally I am rereading most of my favorites in English in the last couple of years but in short, I admire J.R.R.Tolkien's work and love Robert Merle, István Fekete.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have washed 10 bags of sunflower-sprouts over 5 hours in a micro-green salad farm just over this summer!

And also did my highest and longest hike so far in the Rocky Mountains to the top of the Amphitheatrum in Banff for 27 km!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the languages I speak and share all recipes I know how to cook, and I could definitely help with tips about plants or gardening around the house,
I am glad to have talks about biology, conservation, and politics in general or sharing music and discovering new artists.
