ABOUT ME
Hey y'all!I'm currently a full-time party panda in Austin. I have recently graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. I studied public relations and international business. Now, my friends have always describe me as outgoing, friendly, and a bit crazy. I enjoy doing high adrenaline activities like skydiving. I really enjoy helping people any way I can whether it be picking them up from the airport or making a trip to Walmart. Why would I say those things particular? Well I use to be the president for UT's voted best social organization, Planet Longhorn (out of 300 organizations). It's a a social organization that caters towards international exchange students, and so when they first arrive I pick them up from the airport and help them in any way I can adjusting to living in Austin, which usually means lots of trips to Walmart :PI'm a very open person and will probably hug you instead of shake your hand. I love dancing and lipsyncing to music on my iphone. I have a JAMMYPACK (fanny pack with speakers) which is an awesome addition to my partying panda self. I really enjoy going downtown on a weekend night and tearing it up at Barbarella which has the best dance floor in Austin. I also enjoy chill nights and just hanging out with friends while watching How I Met Your Mother, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, etc. I hope this helps you get to know me a bit better, and I love meeting new people, so don't be afraid to introduce yourself to me or shoot me a message :)
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life for the happiness of myself and others. Many of my friends love to say that I'm simply too nice, but I just gain great satisfaction from knowing that whatever little thing I could do to make someone smile is worth doing a thousand times over.
I also have pretty much no shame and don't care what other people think about me, as you can tell from me wearing my panda suit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I definitely love participating in CS by helping anyone who is coming to Austin out. Whether it's picking you up from the airport or showing you around Austin, I enjoy doing it all. I absolutely love this place and I want to share it with the world. So please come to Austin, and I'll help you fall in love with it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had amazing couchsurfing experiences and just hosting experiences as well like in early January 2010, I did house about 15 exchange students from all over the world while they were trying to sort out housing accommodations for the semester. I absolutely loved that experience getting to know everyone.
I've been on CS for a few years now and I've tried to host as much as I could, and I've definitely made some very awesome memories.
Interests
soccer, dancing, traveling, music festivals
Music is a big part of my life. I grew up in Texas so I listen to country, but I live in the live music capital of the world so I'm exposed to a wide variety of music. Music festivals are the best time of my life. Being surrounded by hundreds of people, who enjoy just good music, is amazing. If you're ever in Austin for Austin City Limits or South by Southwest, I would love to help you in any way I can. I probably won't be able to host because I usually have friends from out of town who take up my couches and extra space.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fiend when it comes to TV shows....I highly enjoy watching everything from Modern Family to Mad Men. I'm up for watching all types of tv except horrors.I'm into a variety of music, but probably the most played stuff on my iphone is Stevie Wonder...I absolutely love Motown and soul music but also into some indie artists like Sivu, Hozier, Wolf Alice, etc. When it comes to books, I'm a big lover of the Harry Potter series, but I do love to indulge myself in the world of trashy romance novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2010, I got an internship to work for FIFA at the World Cup in South Africa. Just being in the stadium for the first match was one of the most amazing things ever. While I was there, another amazing thing I've done is climb up and down Table Mountain in Cape Town instead of taking the cable car. I had torn my knee ligaments a few years back and I wasn't sure if I could do the four hour climb up, but I managed to and it was well worth it.
