ABOUT ME
People who know me say I'm very chatty because I love telling stories that have happened to me while teaching, being abroad or just while walking in the street.
I'm into gardening, languages and photography (though I'm just an amateur).
I must say I've had this profile for quite a long time, unfortunately I've never given myself the chance to use it! So I hope this time I can meet as many people as possible. Life is to share it with others, so I'm really looking forward to sharing it with all of you!

Music, Movies, and Books
It's super hard for me to think about just one artist/band.
Right now I'm listening to a lot of Sufjan Stevens, Bruno Major, Fleet Foxes and Billie Marten. I am also a huge fan of Natalia Lafourcade.
I think I enjoy all types of music really but particularly from artists who have a message in their lyrics and also who can play wonderfully.
I really enjoy very original music independent bands and of course and most importantly Latinamerican music.
My old time favorites are Blur, Incubus, Travis and Coldplay. Some other examples that come to my mind are:
Buena Vista Social Club, Inti Illimani, Los Tres, Julieta Venegas, Natalia, KT Tunstall, Gustavo Cerati, Cafe Tacuba, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Pauline Croze, We were Evergreen and Johnny Flynn.
Right now I'm reading Sputnik Sweetheart by Murakami. I used to be a very good reader, but now I must say it takes me a while to get hold of a book.
I'm not sure I could list my favorite books... But I do admire the following authors:
Julio Cortazar
Mario Benedetti
Lewis Caroll
Oscar Wilde
The Brönte Sisters
Kurt Vonnegut
Dr. Seuss
Roald Dahl
Phillip Pullman
George Orwell
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Get on a hot air ballon and see Bournemouth city from above! It was fabulous!!
Going to Aguas Calientes and MachuPicchu on foot! ( it was a return journey... sooooo tiring, but so worth it!) Trying Cuy in Perú.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the many words we chileans have. See, there's the Spanish that you learn at school, and the Spanish we actually speak in Chile which is... "quite" different. I've always said, once you master "Chilean" spanish, you're ready to say you're fluent in Spanish.
I can tell you all about the places you can visit while you're in Chile, Concepción and the south of Chile
I could try and cook for you or we could go for a bite and have a glass of wine or coffee.
