My friend is a member of this site and she invited me for some meetups when I was new to Dubai but I only sign up now. Better late than never.

I plan to travel solo, to meet people and learn their culture.

I cannot host in Dubai unfortunately as I have flatmates.

I organize social networking activities monthly (eat, drink,activities) for expats (I got two groups, one for ladies only and one for mixed group) during weekdays after work and sometimes Saturdays, so if I have one and you are in town maybe you can join. I think that's good as you will meet a lot of expats here in Dubai.

To meet people and gain knowledge about different culture

The reason I'll be travelling is to learn something new, gain insights to the places I will be, try their food (I'm excited), and it will be good if there is someone who can at least guide me or gave a little bit of information, yes, there is internet, but nothing beats local experience.

Plese note that in Dubai I like group activities/hang outs, I prefer meeting and be in a group rather than to be with 1 person only unless you are a female, and I think it's much safer, better safe than sorry.

So please if you are a guy, kindly refrain from sending me messages to meet because I won't meet you.
