Hi! I had not been active in couchsurfing for many years, and just returned. I no longer live in Chile, I now live in Calgary, Canada! During the past couple years I have been between the 2 countries. Currently, looking for places to stay as I get ready to be on the move again.

I work online in my astrology business, and I also have a couple jobs I do in the city. I am aiming to be totally online so that I can travel with ease wherever I want.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had been renting for the past 7 months in Calgary and my lease ended so I decided to take this as an opportunity. I'm saving up to head out on a long trip, so I've shifted from renting to house sitting and couchsurfing to save money faster. I have stored my stuff away and am traveling light for the summer.

Due to the quality of my work I spend a lot of time on my own and tend to not disturb a lot the environment. I will hang out at times, but for the most part I appreciate being able to focus on my research, studies, and writing since my business depends on it!

Interests

I love songwriting and singing, so I will sometimes be making up songs or singing a song that is stuck in my mind. One of my goals is to get a van and live that lifestyle for some time. I have a lot to learn but feel like it's the time to fulfill this dream. I also love plants and being in nature. When I settle into one territory I dream of having a garden. Spending hours in the silence and peacefulness of nature is key to my wellbeing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to new music, but I have my preferences. I will feel happy to listen to music that is soulful, that feels good, and is either relaxing or moving. I don't appreciate so much the music that is too loud or experimental. I love indie, alternative, rnb, hip hop, trip hop, south American music, and original songwriter types of vibes. I am learning to produce and compose my own music so I'm always curious to learn about music production and love to talk with likeminded musicians. As for movies, I generally watch anime more than movies or series. Anime has been a deeper kind of artform in my experience so I don't really watch a lot of movies anymore. Books, I read only about astrology or related topics like mythology or philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess I'm always expanding and learning new things! I'm a self taught astrologer and I built my own business, and even though it's still growing, I'm pretty proud of that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know Spanish (first language), astrology and vegan cooking. I can share a lot about all those things. I've been to a few countries in South America, and know a bit about traveling around the area. I can also share all I know about music and singing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share vegan home made meals! Although I suffer from misophonia (trouble hearing certain sounds) and cant share a meal in total silence, I am very happy to have dinner over music and a good conversation. I can also share some music depending on what equipment is available.
