Hi, I'm Vanessa, I'm a college student, English and Literature major. I just finished my exchange year in Hamburg, Germany for one year. I love dogs, musics, reading, traveling, cooking, fashion, vintage things. I'm open to meet people from all over the world and love to learn about different cultures. I'm really interested in learning languages. So far I've learned German for five years and Japanese for two years, French for one year, and i'm trying to improve my German now.

Due to the reason that I lived in a shared apartment with my friends, I’m not free to host anytime. But I’d like to meet up for sightseeing or trying local food : )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm now on Couchsurfing for almost one year. During the exchange year, I traveled around Europe and met a lot of nice and hospitable people! I like the idea of couchsurfing and the mindset of couch surfers, so I’d like to keep being active in the community!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music takes a big part in my life, and I enjoy wide-range of musics. Mostly, I listen to American rap, pop, and alternative music. I love watching movies and american series, and drama and crime are my favorite genres. I read more books in English because of my major, and I really enjoy reading literature and dystopian novels.
