PLEASE READ EVERYTHING ON MY PROFIL!

We are Vanessa and Mélanie (20 years old). We both acquired our High School certificate last summer. Now we are off to discover Australia with a wvh. We both have our driver's licence and love sports.

We live in Gap in France. Gap is a lovely city in the Southern Alps, in winter we get lots of snow. It is situated in one of the most beautiful regions of France and a very sportive city, too. I (Vanessa) have been playing basket ball for 5 years and have started a career as a referee; it would be my dream to whistle at the National level…

It has been a long lasting dream of ours to travel to Australia, on the other side of the world. This dream will now come true: we are leaving France in February for 6 months and look forward to discover this continent, learn about its culture and its rich history, and to improve our English. Our trip will start in Melbourne, and then we will move up the coast until Cairns. We would like to stay in Melbourne for a few weeks in order to have time to get used to and adapt to the Australian way of life.

Via Couchsurfing we would like to find a host and live like the Australians and learn about the culture. We are very easy going and curious to find out about new ways of living.

The most important for us is to find an open minded host. We believe communication is the basis for all relationships. Therefore, it is important for us to get along well with the host that will welcome us.
