About Me

Hey there 😊

I´m a 27 year old girl who loves exploring our world.

I got stuck in Japan a few times for many months as this place always feels a bit like home to me. In Japan I studied at Uni, worked as a teacher, did volunteering work, made lots of friends and fell in love with its nature, small towns and cities.

But for now, I´m more than ready to see other places which planet earth has to offer.

I'm passionate about cultural exchange and getting inspired by different lifestyles while, at the same time, figuring out my own way to live a happy and fulfilled life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like to interact with locals and
Love to experience staying in houses that reflect the real life of locals instead of waking up in a standard hotel room.

I would like to contribute towards a peaceful and happy environment in a world where we are all somehow connected.

I enjoy meeting new people and learning new perspectives - and I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to do so!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled 450km across the Netherlands in 7 days (no electric bike haha)

In case you didn´t know: The Netherlands is great for cycling due to the flat landscape!

Teach, Learn, Share

Finished my Master of Education and I love teaching English and Japanese.
Always like to talk about education styles, pedagogy and psychology and hear different approaches.

Because of some volunteering work in hostels and hotels in Japan, I´m recently thinking about what if I had my own holiday accommodation and managed it as a host. Love to listen if you have experience with that.

Apart from that: Can´t pin down what I want to learn, since even the smallest things are interesting to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- German culture and language
- Everything I know about travelling Japan
- How to learn a language (especially English/Japanese)

And all my thoughts, perspectives and knowledge about what you want to know.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, England, Italy, Japan, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United States
