I'm an introvert... INTP, for those familiar with Myers-Briggs. I'm good at listening, but not very good at talking about myself. I am also not, by nature, a "discloser"-- I tend not to share a lot of personal stuff until I feel I know someone well. However, you are welcome to prompt me with questions both personal and not about whatever you're interested in knowing. I believe it should never hurt to ask questions-- after all, I'm curious enough that if I were a cat I'd be dead long ago. My favorite thing in the world is figuring out how anything --and everything-- works.

Okay, maybe not quite everything, as that has a way of not fully extending to cars.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about Couchsurfing from a friend who had a positive experience with it. I think it's a great concept. I'm now in the position of planning a road trip with another friend, so it seemed like a good time to give this a try myself. If all goes well, then I will likely be open to try hosting.

I love meeting people with very different backgrounds from me and learning how they view the world (my love of psychology). Beyond that, I love it when non-native English speakers teach me their language, but I also enjoy learning all sorts of things, just for the sake of learning.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to cook or bake for you if you buy the ingredients. :) If you want dinner, it will likely involve pasta, though I'm also very comfortable with adapting for gluten free diets.
