Hi! I'm Vanessa, a 23-year old from New York state!

I completed my university degree in May 2018, after studying 3 years in New York and 1 year at an institute for environmental studies in Israel. After I graduated I traveled, working on various farms.

My father is Austrian, my mother is Irish, and I was born in the US. I've spent a lot of time in all 3 countries and from a young age I grew to appreciate and understand the importance of traveling and having new, different experiences from what you are used to.

I'm very passionate about the conservation and protection of the environment and am considering getting my masters degree in sustainable agriculture/food systems and/or pursuing a career in farming!

I love to travel and when I do, I enjoy spending time with locals who know about the culture and history of the area, and who can share their knowledge with me:)
