Overview
About Me
I'm a Canadian that just finished my undergraduate degree. I am now in school for physiotherapy. I like to travel slowly and see the authentic side of places, and staying with locals is one of the best ways of doing that! In Calgary I go rock climbing, hiking and camping most weekends. I like to keep busy and have a lot of things going on, but love getting to know new people and having company when I can. My home is more than big enough for me so I'm happy to have people when I'm around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Saving money and meeting great people
Interests
Travel for nature and culture. I love to go through places slowly and see the authentic side. At home I rock climb and in the summers I work in tree planting camps, where we camp and work in the Canadian wilderness. I love learning new things and I'm a bit of a nerd. I can tell you a lot about anatomy and the human body in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music with a focus on classic rock and folk music. I'm on a quest to read all the classic books and non-fiction if I can learn something.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Work in tree planting camps in Canada for the last 5 years - involves beautiful highs and devastating lows
Teach, Learn, Share
If I'm not too busy with school and work, I can teach you how to make bread, a lot of science facts, card games, how to build a fire and play a ukulele (if you provide one). Also some main principles of Buddhism.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can diagnose most soft tissue injuries and tell you how to fix your posture. 80% chance you won't feel like following the exercise advice, though. I'm also a cook and an even better baker.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bahrain, Costa Rica, Cuba, Jordan, Nepal, Scotland, United States
